Fall 2019 Activities & Updates

Here are a few updates as we get closer to the 2019-2020 season.  Again, watch Facebook for up to the minute news and notes!

Cornhole 2019 & Sponsor Drive
Thanks to everyone who participated in last weekend's Cornhole Tourney and Big Money Raffle!  We had 29 teams compete in the tourney at Pork's.  We also had A BUNCH of great raffle baskets.  Once again we had a great time and raised a bunch of money for HWC.  Our big expense this year is going to be ordering a new practice mat for the Middle School program.

Thanks to everyone that helped with the preparation for the event.  Lot's of sponsor contacts and lots of hours in gathering baskets.  A big should out to Thrivent, helping us with lots of great raffle prizes.

Finally, thanks to all of our sponsors.  We have some long time sponsors and a bunch of new sponsors for 2019.  Your support of HWC makes a huge difference.  We'll be updating our sponsor page as we get the final tally in for the event.

Wednesday Wrestling
Coach Nate is running a workout on Wednesday nights at 3:30 PM in the HHS wrestling room.  This is open to middle school and high school wrestlers.  If you're not doing a fall sport this is a great way to get a workout in and to get a jump on the season.  Again, keep an eye on Facebook for any changes and updates to the schedule.

Youth Camp Opportunity
There will be a youth camp after the Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches Association annual meeting at the KI Center in Green Bay on Saturday November 2.  Mike Krause of NXT LVL wrestling is the camp counselor.  Mike is a dynamic instructor who will lead a really fun session.  High energy way to kickoff the season for wrestlers of all levels.  We'll post registration information on Facebook.

Youth Registration
Once again we'll be using SportsEngine for registration.  We'll have the 2019-2020 links out by the end of October.

Youth Practice
Still some details to work out on youth practice.  We'll look to get going in early December for experienced wrestlers and then January for the little guys and new wrestlers.  Again, keep an eye on Facebook and this website for links when available.
